Awakening the Inner Fire

Tummo Retreat with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
23–30 January 2027 · Vaskna Farm, Estonia

In the stillness of the Estonian winter, we gather for our annual Tummo retreat with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, Tibetan physician and lineage holder of the Yuthok Nyingthig. This week offers time to step away from everyday demands and enter a shared rhythm of teachings, meditation, yogic movement, and reflection.

Tummo is often associated with inner heat. Within the teachings, however, heat belongs to a wider exploration of body, energy, and mind. Warmth, bliss, and clarity are cultivated together. The practice invites us to become more sensitive to our experience, to recognize habitual tension, and to discover a gentler, more conscious way of being with ourselves.

Through guided practice and the teacher’s explanations, we will explore the foundations of Tummo and the understanding that gives its methods meaning.
